Color of Love
He sat on the porch looking over to the coral where her pony was.  Sure was a pretty colt, copper colored with a good disposition. He remembered when his Granddaughter was just a baby and somehow wandered into the coral behind a stallion.
She toddled up behind and started pulling on his tail. The old man froze with fear; he didn’t want to startle the horse and give liberty to make a dangerous situation even worse than it already was. The stallion lifted up his hind leg and gently pushed the baby aside. This action made the horse worth more than any horse alive. Now his Granddaughter was old enough to start asking questions about the world around her. She always brought a smile to the old cowboy, her latest question gave him a chance to answer the way he always does.

Color Of Love

What's the color of love Grandpa?
As she climbs upon my knee.
What color should I paint?
For everyone to see.

Well, love is like a rainbow
That shines within your heart.
It has so many pretty colors
I don't know where to start.

But I think loves a special color
It should come as no surprise.
Just give your mom a tender hug
You’ll see it in her eyes.
